Beautiful Windows Vista Wallpaper - a photoset on Flickr
Vista enthusiast (and Digg user) Brajeshwar Oinam has put together some beautiful, high-resolution Vista-themed wallpapers for us all. Technically, these would work well for pretty much any screen, Vista or otherwise; and I have to say that the details on some of these are truly stunning.

Wii Browser "Hack" with Perl nph-proxy. See what Digg is like on the Wii.
The other methods have used php proxy; this is my hacked version of Nph-proxy(perl). nph-proxy has javascript dropping features that keep the browser from following absolute paths and error-ing out like the php proxy. This is not the first video of this but its the first one using perl.

First Impressions of the XBox 360 HD-DVD
If you own an Xbox 360 and are looking for a less expensive way to get an HD-DVD player I'd say definetly pick this up. The inconvenience of having two devices instead of one and the increased noise is far, far outweighed by the low price for what is another wise fine player. Check out the attached video.

uTorrent add-on for Firefox
Ah, the marriage of two of my favorite programs, uTorrent and Firefox. Over at TorrentFreak they've got an add-on for Firefox that integrates the two, putting uTorrent's WebUI (which you must download separately) in Firefox's sidebar and reporting you download and upload speeds in the status bar.
